What if emotions come up during the session?
Emotions are welcome.
You may feel sadness, tenderness, anger, joy, grief, relief, numbness, or nothing at all. There is no right or wrong experience.
We move gently and at your pace, with grounding, presence, breath, and time for integration.
Is Sekhem Massage sexual?
Sekhem Massage is a sensual and energetic massage session, but it is held with clear consent, communication, and professional boundaries.
The focus is embodiment, presence, energy, sensitivity, and connection with yourself. It is not about performance or expectation.
Sensitive boundaries are discussed clearly before the session, and you are always free to say no, pause, or change your mind and it can change through the massage. As I have over 10 years experience in the tantric massage field, we can book a full body tantric massage after a clarity call.
What is Dearmouring?
Dearmouring is a body-based technique that supports the softening of protective patterns, tension, and emotional holding in the body.
It may involve touch, breath, awareness, sound, sensation, or emotional release. In my work, dearmouring is approached gently and respectfully, always at the pace of your body.
What happens before the session starts?
We begin with an intentional conversation. We explore what is present for you physically, emotionally, and energetically.
We may speak about your intention, boundaries, previous experience with bodywork, health concerns, and what kind of support you are seeking.
Only after this conversation do we begin the session.
What happens after the session?
There is time to rest, integrate, and slowly return.
After a session, you may feel relaxed, emotional, tired, spacious, open, grounded, or sensitive. I recommend giving yourself quiet time afterward, drinking water, and allowing space for integration. If it is possible, it is great to go walk in nature afterwards.
Do I need experience with bodywork or somatic work?
No. You do not need any previous experience.
You are welcome whether this is your first bodywork session or you have explored somatic healing, tantra, massage, therapy, or energy work before. It is just important you keep an open mind and have curiosity to oneself.
What should I share before booking?
Please share your name, which session you feel drawn to, your intention, any previous bodywork experience, and any health concerns, injuries, trauma sensitivity, or physical conditions I should know about.
Is this Therapy?
No. This work is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or a replacement for professional mental health care.
It is a somatic bodywork and self-development practice that may support emotional awareness, body connection, stress relief, and personal growth.
Is this a massage?
Some sessions include massage, but Sekhem Bodywork is more than massage.
Depending on the session, we may work with touch, breath, body awareness, emotional release, fascia release, energy work, sensual embodiment, stillness, or dialogue.
The intention is not only relaxation, but also deeper connection with your body, emotions, and inner wisdom.
Do I undress?
Yes. How clothed you choose to be is completely your choice. Your comfort, consent, and boundaries guide the session.
For bodywork that includes oil, I will kindly invite you to undress to your underwear if that feels comfortable for you. This is always your choice, and we will discuss what feels right before the session begins.
Do I need to know which session to choose?
No. You do not need to know beforehand.
You are welcome to come with a feeling, an intention, a question, or simply a sense that something in your body wants attention. We can begin with a conversation and choose the direction of the session together.
If you are unsure, we can also have a 15-minute clarity call before booking to feel into what may fit you best — including the type of session, your intention, session length, and budget.
